Gicleé is a French word meaning spraying of ink. Gicleé art reproduction is considered by many to be the finest available today. The color is much richer and longer-lasting than any other reproduction method. The blacks and deep tones provide an impressive dimension of color. These prints are reproduced on the finest archival, acid-free art board, or paper. Giclée prints can also be reproduced on canvas of varying sizes. This can add an "original art" flavor to the work and can eliminate the need for framing with glass and matting.
The Gicleé process is used by museums and top art galleries for providing quality fine art prints to their collectors. When customers and special collectors aren't able to obtain an original work of art due the fact that the original has been sold or the price is out of their budget. The Gicleé reproduces the quality of the original with exacting color and image detail. A signed archival Gicleé image will provide long lasting enjoyment as well as grow in value.
